Crooked Neck Giraffe Gemina Santa Barbara Zoo

Santa Barbara Zoo’s famous crooked neck giraffe passed away Wed. January 9, 2008 due to declining health, refusing to eat, and old age. Apparently 21 years is a long life for any giraffe and Gemina was beloved in her many years at the zoo. Though she was a celebrity, Gemina the Crooked Neck Giraffe led a normal wonderful life and will greatly missed.
